John Nurminen Logistics Centre

Savings in time and money

Ruukki’s sandwich panels and thin sheet structures were utilised to create a firewall solution, as a portion of the wall also needed to be thermally insulated. The method of implementation saved both time and money in comparison with the traditional method of constructing a firewall.

A John Nurminen logistics centre was built in the Vuosaari harbour area in Helsinki. Ruukki delivered load-bearing profile sheets and sandwich panel wall structures for the project. The sandwich panel elements were delivered in the colours requested by John Nurminen.
