Ruukki operates in compliance with the principles of sustainable development. Ruukki’s corporate social responsibility programme aims to safeguard the company’s long-term business viability from the economic, social and environmental points of view.

Economic responsibility means that we meet our financial targets, produce value added for our stakeholders and contribute and act responsibly within our supply chain.

Social responsibility means that we ensure the safety of work environment, continually strive develop our organisation and treat our personnel equitably and fairly.

Environmental responsibility means that we strive to minimise the environmental impact of our products throughout their lifecycles. Steel is a fully recyclable and Ruukki roofs last for decades, both of which contribute reduced environmental impact. We use ISO 14001 as a tool to continually improve upon our environmental operations.
